| This work was conceived as a way of connecting people, joining them together through a functional sculpture. The glasses are removable for drinking, but must be returned to the base, which is shared by all present. Drinking is often ceremonial, sometimes intimate- by changing the glasses used, this piece can be romantic, just two, or up to five. The Joining Piece includes five elements which can be as shown, or may include a bud vase, or martini glasses.
