Delicate colors from blues to violets are contained within the graceful form of a boat. A unique glass is used to make this piece which is colored by neodymium, a rare earth oxide. One of the most unusual colors in glassmaking, the glass changes color depending on the color temperature of the light surrounding it. It will appear reddish violet in artificial light and change to blues in daylight. This significant piece is 30 inches long and weighs 30 pounds. The heavy casting glows from within. Please allow four to six weeks for delivery.
